Currently based in Singapore, she has spent more than 20 years of her professional career in Asia. An expert in career transition, inclusion/diversity and cross-cultural leadership, Dr. Horan speaks on mindset, strategies and actions necessary for you to navigate upward in the competitive global workplace, as well as important points in determining your future career.

Following her presentation, Dr. Horan joins in a dialogue with Suzanne Price, faculty at GLOBIS University and President, Price Global, a change agent specialising in Diversity and Inclusion.

Jane Horan, EdD, is an expert in cross cultural leadership and career transitions. She is the founder of The Horan Group, helping organisations build inclusive workplaces and working with individuals on career transitions.

Dr. Horan is an internationally-recognized speaker and author of I Wish I’d Known That Earlier in My Career: The Power of Positive Workplace Politics, a business book used by corporate universities and career coaches globally. She is also the author of How Asian Women Lead: Lessons for Global Corporations, based on her doctoral research, using storytelling to show new perspectives on the future of leadership and careers. Her next book, The Art of Career Navigation, will be published in 2016. Dr. Horan has written articles on women leaders, office politics and career transitions for Bloomberg Business Week, Human Resource Review, Quartz, The Economist Intelligence Unit, South China Morning Post, Straits Times and other publications.

With over 20 years of work experience with companies such as Kraft, Disney and GE, Dr. Horan uses her work knowledge to help organisations build inclusive and engaged workplaces. Her consulting work includes Fortune 100 firms such as, BP, Credit Suisse, Covidien, HP, McDonalds, Microsoft, Monsanto, Jones Lang LaSalle, Syngenta, SingTel, Toshiba, VMWare and others. Through her advisory work, coaching and workshops, By recognizing what matters most to succeed, she provides both sound advice and practical tools to help organisations retain and engage talent.

Suzanne Price was honored to be listed as ‘Top 10 Diversity Consultants’ by The Global Diversity List supported by the Economist. She was also the British Business Award ‘Entrepreneur of the Year, 2012’ as the President of Price Global, a change agent specializing in Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) for Asia Pacific and based in Tokyo. Suzanne is particularly known for expertise facilitating organisations and managers to build inclusive work environments mitigating unconscious bias. She is also a pioneer with 12-years experience designing and delivering Leadership Development Programs for Women in Asia Pacific.

Suzanne works as a consultant, facilitator and executive coach. Her clients include numerous Fortune 500 and multi-national companies across a broad range of industries throughout Asia Pacific. Suzanne previously led D&I at UBS Securities Asia and has served as a retained consultant for Global Leadership and Diversity at Goldman Sachs and Diversity and Inclusion advisor for AXA Life. She is also an associate Consultant for Korn Ferry’s D&I Leadership and Talent Consulting Services. Suzanne is a qualified applied psychology professional having transitioned from a previous career as a psychotherapist. She has proven business acumen, and provides tangible business results to her clients. Her clients have won several awards for her programs.
