Rising Above: Using Asia’s Strengths to Build a Global Career 3/3

If the 21st century is indeed “the Asian century,” where does Japan stand and how can we hitch a ride on this road to greater global influence? To discuss these issues and more, GLOBIS welcomed Professor Yoko Ishikura as a special guest for our first Professional Seminar in 2013. Prof. Ishikura shared her insights on how to forge an exciting global career and discuss with GLOBIS Dean Tomoya Nakamura how Japanese, and Asians in general, can differentiate themselves and tap into a global market which is increasingly focused on our region. As educational professionals and Harvard Business School alumni, Prof. Ishikura and Mr. Nakamura also discussed the role of an MBA as an essential tool in building a global career.
