Toshiyuki Shiga is the Representative Director, Chief Operating Officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., where he is responsible for External and Government Affairs, Intellectual Asset Management, Design, Corporate Governance and Global Internal Audit. Before assuming his current position in 2005, he acted as Senior Vice President in charge of the General Overseas Market Sales & Marketing division. Since joining Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in April 1976, he has held a number of positions in Sales Operation in Asia and Corporate Planning. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, OSAKA Prefecture University in March 1976.
Also, since 2010 he has been the chairman of Japan Automobile Manufactures Association, Inc. (JAMA).
